About us

A healthier take on baking.

Our mission

To bring joy and connectivity shared through simple, nutritious and creative baking experiences - right at home.

Our story

Two sisters, one kitchen, and a chilly winter morning in New Hampshire — it was here that 12shares was born. Inspired to share the joy we found huddled around a flour -filled counter baking with family and friends, we sought to develop a recipe for healthy bagels in the comfort of home.

We are excited to share our weekend (or any time) ritual with you!

The history of “Twelve Shares”

Our namesake, “Twelve Shares” is the woodland area where 12shares was founded. The original settlers of Hampton, New Hampshire received this land in 12 parcels, or shares, in a grant from the King of England.

Twelve Shares inspires us to return to our roots and simpler ways of making food, and to enrich the community we call home.
